Welcome to Winnibakes Levantine Bakery, Winnipeg's authentic Levantine dining destination in the Linden Ridge Shopping Centre at 1765 Kenaston Blvd. The name blends "Winnipeg" and "Bakery" — and unlike a conventional bakery, every flatbread here is baked fresh to order in a stunning, ornate gas-fired oven at the heart of our warm dining room. We bring the centuries-old, spice-driven flavours of the Levant to southwest Winnipeg with authenticity and warmth.
The heart of our menu is Mana'eesh — savoury Levantine flatbreads baked to order on soft, homemade dough, from the classic Za'atar to ground beef, Akkawi cheese, labneh, spinach and fajita chicken. We're best known for shawarma served not in a wrap but in flaky phyllo pastry (Pie in a Pan) or as a baked calzone, alongside fresh salads, dips like mutabal, and Levantine desserts including Kunafa, Basbosa and Baklawa — all fully halal.
Founded by Jordanian couple Fawaz Alsayeh and Batoul Hussein, Winnibakes is a family-owned bakery built on passion and hospitality. Batoul, a trained interior designer, shaped our cozy dining room — lush greenery, ornate teal tiles and a glowing "And that's flat, habibi" sign — while Fawaz greets every guest personally. Whether you join us for dine-in, takeout, catering or online ordering, we're proud to serve the best halal Levantine food in Whyte Ridge, Linden Ridge and across southwest Winnipeg.
