Za'atar Mana'eesh is the cornerstone of Levantine baking and the dish that started it all at Winnibakes. We hand-stretch our soft, airy dough (available in white or whole-wheat) and generously spread it with a fragrant blend of wild thyme, toasted sesame seeds, tangy sumac and rich olive oil, then bake it to order in our gas-fired oven.
The result is a warm, chewy flatbread with the unmistakable aroma of the Levant — earthy, nutty and bright all at once. It's the most authentic za'atar flatbread in Winnipeg, perfect on its own, folded around fresh vegetables, or paired with a cup of our cardamom-spiced Turkish coffee.
